We just attended the last show of the couture beauty trends 2016 presented just recently, but this time in Rome. Valentino broke the mold and brought us to the City of Surprise, away from the City of Love. We had fallen in line with so various collections along the way; we have officially lost count. What we did notice, but, was the fact that so many of the collections featured some very common beauty patterns, so much so that we had any trouble keeping up. Of course, the couture week is not as long as the ready to wear design weeks, which makes it so much simpler to figure out just what we love from the trends presented.
Out of all the many hairstyles and makeup looks spotted, below we have rounded up the best fall 2016 couture beauty trends for your inspiration! While the dresses and suits, the shoes and handbags were all lovely to behold, there was anything else that caught our attention during the Paris Fashion Couture Week. Those beautiful headbands looked all over the place, from the fairies of Versace to the mermaid styles with the small braids at Valentino.
Nothing beats those beautiful gold pieces seen at Elie Saab but, on angels as ethereal as the clothes they wore for us. After all, each walk show is done with the customer in mind. Remember when it was cool to look like you had no makeup on, even if you used products to realize that bare face? No more is that the case it looks as Chanel so aptly pointed out with its unusually straight drawn brows, the overdrawn lips and a large amount of blush on the cheeks.
Versace ensured the eyelids were shaded up nicely, from the smoky to the shimmering greenish gold, should the makeup match the colors of the clothes the nymphs wore. On the other hand, no makeup look was what dominated at Giambattista Valli with the transparent gloss applied on the lips and Margiela Fall Collection 2016, and the skin left dewy and natural. Schiaparelli assured we know just what makeup means, combining blues on the eyes with reds on the lips with red cheeks and illuminated skin tones, providing the women a very doll-like look.
Seafoam is a pretty impressive makeup color for your eyes as well it seems while we recommend you stock up on that route, though if you want to go more subtle, the Elie Saab metallic lids strength be your best look. Want to go stranger than strange? How about using eyeliner for lip liner and emphasizing that Cupid’s bow as it was done for Maison Anoufa? At Jean Paul Gaultier, trademark stripes turned into interesting eyeliner designs.
